Benjamin Knapton is a director and creative producer who has worked in thirty-one countries across theatre, contemporary circus and film. Since 2010 he has been the Associate Director at Circa. As part of the senior leadership team, he has played a pivotal role in leading the company to international prominence as one of the most innovative and dynamic performing arts companies on the planet.

Benjamin has an extensive portfolio of new works and engagement programs created both at Circa and independently. His work has been stage at some of the world’s most significant festivals and venues, contributing to the development and evolution of performing arts across various genres. He holds a Master of Arts and PhD in theatre direction.
